Easington is a small village situated between the Humber estuary and the North Sea in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Easington Church Hall has been at the heart of the community since 1936.
At 69-years old, new health and safety requirements meant the hall no longer met modern requirements.
However the opportunity arose thanks to the generosity of Hydro and the partners of the Langeled Project, to pull down the old hall and replace it with a brand new one.
With a state-or-the-art kitchen, meeting rooms and a large hall suitable for indoor bowling, the hall is versatile for any event or occasion.
It is hoped that the Community Hall will continue to remain a focal point of village life, a place to gather and celebrate for years to come.
